Without question, this gesha fully embodies the essence of the Cajamarca region, a lush, mountainous area in Peru's northern highlands.  Vast inter-Andean valleys, high altitudes, rich volcanic soil, and favorable micro-climates allow coffees in this region to have an interconnected balance of sweetness and acidity. This micro-lot in particular garners attention for it's delicacy and floral complexity. 

Finca El Palto employs only the most sustainable practices. This gesha varietal from David Ojeda is meticulously cared for throughout the entire cultivation process. Of note, the drying takes place in 'bubble tents' over a period of 10-20 days allowing for the fullest and wildest expression of the natural nuances to develop. We absolutely love how the complexity unfurls in the cup.
